We have a woodpecker who drilled 2 holes into the wood shingles on my house. The holes are approx. 3 inches from each other and located a few inches below the roof line. The holes cannot be reached without climbing on the roof (gambral cape) or using ladders. Please let me know if you need more detail or have questions / concerns. I'm interested in the cost to remove this problem.
Woodpecker have repeatedly damaged my dark brown cedar siding on my house. This has happened in previous years but this is the worst in my 22 years in this house. This year, over the last 2 weeks, I have immediately repaired the woodpecker damage within 24 hours (often in much less time). I have done this at least 6 times now. I have tried putting small image expanding mirrors and I have tried putting up 1st green colored and then clear fishing line in attempt to disrupt their flight paths. Sometimes they return within in 20-30 minutes of a repair if I am not present. I also repaired fairly extensive damage on a similar colored shed out back. Lou S.
